Happy Creme Brulee Day!

Today is National Creme Brulee Day (we really have a holiday for everything here in the states), and to celebrate, here’s a recipe I composed for Creative Loafing. I used the kitchen torch, which might be one of the coolest things to have lying around on the counter. I’ve seen recipes using vanilla beans, caramel, lavender, ginger, and even sweet potatoes, but I wanted to try making one with dark chocolate and chili peppers. Happy Habanero Holidays.
